Powerboat Races Bring New Sound

Bring your family and your radio to this year’s Powerboat Races on Labor Day Weekend! For the first time ever, the races will be broadcasted live on 88.7 fm! This means that you need to bring your own radio!

WiFi Kankakee LLC is providing free WiFi Internet access for your use.  Boat racers and teams can pre register at http://www.wifikankakee.com/racer.

The objective of the WiFi Internet service is to make Kankakeethe WiFi “Hot Spot” for local users, visitors and businesses.  The second objective is to place ahead of other cities to attract new customers, visitors and businesses to our community.  Currently we have finalized multiple hotspot access points in the downtown area, RiverRoad Park, Beckman Boat Harbor, KCC, Ice Rink and the Water Park.  Non-racer accounts can be established at the WiFi Kankakee website at: http://www.wifikankakee.com/   Please sign up and utilize the free Internet service that the WiFi Kankakee, LLC is offering to you.  The website list complete coverage maps for your convenience.  The WiFi help desk number is 815 802-5277.
